On this page, you will find a selection of special topics which usually "just happened". Be it the Zeppelin just appearing in front of us on a Sunday morning walk, an electricity pole being constructed in the mountains (using a helicopter to provide the concrete to build the basement and the pole itself or the fireworks (well, this was planned to be honest).

I have also added some experimental photos here (mostly using macro or fisheye lenses).

Although there was no fireworks allowed this year, I can still offer some pretty firework pictures from the previous years. Honestly, I prefer organized fireworks over the chaotic shooting on New Year's eve anyway. It is much easier to prepare for as a photographer and I quite like the results from my first firework shooting.

Zeppelins are usually considered part of history. Everyone has heard about the Hindenburg disaster and this was also considered the end of those types of aircrafts. Luckily, technology has moved on and can provide safe ways to build a Zeppelin today. While it is no longer used for regular travel, you can see them occasionally over cities for special events. I was very surprised to see one on a beautiful fall Sunday in Oberschleissheim where it was offering trips above Munich.

I am not a sailor nor want to become one, but seeing larger and older sailing boats cuise the sea looks very nice.

Helikopters are another, more modern way to fly. We know them to be used for multiple reasons and purposes, but using then to transport concrete and electricty poles was new to me. Well, look at this yourself. And yes, I managed to even get one with the moon!

Here you can find all types of pictures which do not fit into any other category. I like them anyway...

And yes, I need to learn how to get my fingers out of view for my extreme fisheye lens.
