Landscapes
On this page, I have collected all type of landscape shots, from sunrises to sunsets and from mountains to sea. While this started more as snapshots (to be honest, one of the pictures was even made with a smartphone 5+ year back - seems to prove that having the right location and a good view - and some luck - is more important than an expensive gear) but I have started to plan those shots in a more professional way recently. let's see if we can spot differences over the next year...

Let's start this page with some 2021 fall pictures from Schloss Schleissheim near Munich as well as Kaltenbrunn with a very nice view on Tegernsee and the Wallberg.
Finding the right light is key in landscape photography. Getting up early is a great recommendation to start a day when you want to get great shots. As you can see, I did not do it too often (all picture are from 3 time slots), but it was worth while...
Finding the right light at sunset is a little easier than for sunrises - all you need is to be ready at the right time - and yes, interesting clouds will certainly help and make your picture even more dramatic.
I clearly need to do more mountains, here are just some which are remarkable.

Clouds play an important role during sunrises and sunsets and I hope you already enjoyed those above. Here are some more during the day.
I also managed to see and shoot a live thunderstorm (did not cause any severe trouble as it did not hit land) as well as some rainbow shots (I clearly need to work on those but getting the chance to do so is hard).
As my first larger project, I created a calendar for 2021 using my pictures. It was a great learning especially concerning the final preparation of the pictures and the printing and ordering. I am very happy with the result!
